SANTA FE, NM: About 12 miles north of Santa Fe, New Mexico the Pojoaque Pueblo’s Buffalo Thunder Resort is about half way through construction and on track for its grand opening in the Fall of 2008. When complete Buffalo Thunder Resort will boast a 390-room hotel and a 151,000 square foot casino with 1,200 slot machines, 25 table games, a horse and dog simulcast wagering area and a 10-table poker room. When this opens next year Buffalo Thunder Resort will be the largest poker room in the Santa Fe area.
