MESCALARO, NM: For New Mexico poker players looking for big pay-out tournaments the Inn of the Mountain Gods Poker Room has some great ones. During the winter and spring they will be hosting four “Big Cash” satellite style tournaments. These are two day events, each having a buy-in of $250, and they are limited to 180 players. The first day 18 single table tournaments are played with the top two finishers from each table advancing to the next day finals. The top 18 players win cash, 1st place will pay out $13,000.

Starting stacks for the first day are 3,000 chips, with levels starting at 25-50 and going up every 15 minutes. Players advancing to the second day will start with 30,000 chips, with levels starting at 100-200 going up every 20 minutes. The dates of the tournaments are February 22nd & 23rd - March 21st & 22nd -April 18th & 19th - May 16th & 17th of 2008.
