LAS VEGAS, NV: A sign of the times? The poker room in the Paris Hotel and Casino has reduced its hours from 24/7 to eight hours a day. Starting immediately the poker room opens at 7 PM every day and closes at 3 AM. Clearly reduced patronage was the reason for the move.

There is a rumor, unconfirmed by any staff at Paris, that the room may be closed completely after the World Series of Poker this summer. Paris is operated by Harrah’s Entertainment Group, the owners of the WSOP.
