UNCASVILLE, CT: Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort has announced the plans for a new poker room, which will compliment their current PokerPro automated tournament room. The new live poker room will have forty-two poker tables and will rival nearby Foxwoods/MGM for the poker players attention.

Until now Foxwoods has had a monopoly on the live poker crowd in Connecticut but with this new room Mohegan Sun will seek to compete in this lucrative market. The continuing expansion and remodel of the Mohegan Sun Casino will continue through the end of 2008, the new poker room is anticipated to open in the early fall.
