UNCASVILLE, CT: Beginning October 1st at 7:30pm, Mohegan Sun kicks off its $750,000 Guaranteed Super Stack Tournament, welcoming some of the top poker players around. The action wraps up on October 26th when the first poker champion of 2008 will be crowned.

With the prize purse guaranteed, each of the top eighty players will walk home with at least $1,700 in their pockets. Players will begin their journey to the main event and starting with qualifying rounds on October 1st. The 10K chip qualifiers will have buy-ins of $300.00 + $30.00 and $100.00 + $20.00, and the winners will receive cash as well as a seat in the main event. The “entry fee-less” main event kicks off on October 22nd at 11:00am and concludes with the top twenty-seven players competing for the big payouts on Sunday, October 26th at 12:00pm.
Over $210,000 guaranteed is at stake when the Super Stack Tournament draws to an end and a champion is crowned on October 26th. The winner will walk away with the largest poker prize pool ever offered at Mohegan Sun
