MORTON, MN: The Jackpot Junction Casino Poker Room will be sending one player to represent them at the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event. Jackpot Junction Poker Room will be using a tournament point system to qualify players for their WSOP Event to be held on April 20th, 2008.  Remaining tournament dates to earn qualifying points are February 2nd & 17th, March 1st & 16th and April 5th.

The Wednesday WSOP point tournaments have a $40 buy-in with a $10 entry fee. There will be no re-buys, however there will be one optional $5 add-on at the first break for $2,000 in chips. The Saturday & Sunday tournaments have a $60 buy-in with a $15 entry fee. There will be no re-buys, however there will be one optional $5 add-on at the first break for $2,000 in chips. 8% of the prize pool from each of these tournaments will be added to the April 20th final prize pool. The Saturday & Sunday tournaments are limited to 154 players and the Wednesday tournaments are limited to 86 players.

The top 40 finalists in the point standings will compete in the final tournament on April 20th with no buy-in or entry fee. The top series point earner will win their choice of $1,000 in cash or a $1500 seat to the 2008 WSOP. 41 st-60th in the point standings may register for this event with an $85 buy-in with a $15 entry fee. 61 st-80 th in the point standings may register for a $130 buy-in with a $20 entry fee. 81 st-100 th in the point standings may register for a $175 buy-in with a $25 entry fee. All remaining seats: $360 buy-in with a $40 entry fee. Seating is limited to 154 players. All players qualifying for a free or reduced rate must confirm their entry before 8:00am on Friday, April 11th, 2008. Any unclaimed seats will be available to purchase at that time. The winner of the final tournament on April 20th will receive a $10,000 seat in the WSOP plus $2,500 cash for travel and expenses.
