There is good news for poker players looking to warm up after a cold Minnesota February as Canterbury Park Card Club has announced a hot poker tournament lineup for March. Playing Canterbury Park’s March tournaments will also give players an opportunity to warm up for the Minnesota State Poker Championship which will be held on April 20th.

March Schedule:

Saturdays:
Every Saturday in March, Big-Stax $150+$25 NLHE, 8000 in chips, 10:30 am start time, sign ups begin at 8:30 am

Sundays:
March 2 and 16, Mega-Stax $300+$40 NLHE, 10,000 in chips, noon start time, sign ups begin at 10:00 am
March 9 and 30, LIPS Ladies Only $100+$25 NLHE, noon start time, sign ups begin and 10:00 am

Mondays:
Every Monday in March, $50+12 NLHE Shootout, $2000 Guaranteed Prize Pool, 10:30 am start time, sign ups begin at 8:00 am for players seated in cash games and 9:00 am for all others

Every Monday in March, $55 and $100 buy-in NLHE Sit-n-Go, from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Wednesdays:
Every Wednesday in March, $200+$30 NLHE, 7:30 pm start time, sign ups begin at 5:00 pm

Thursdays:
Every Thursday in March, $55 and $100 buy-in NLHE Sit-n-Go, from noon - 10:00 pm

Minnesota State Poker Championship:
The $1500+$120 Championship will be held on April 20th. Players have the option of buying in for the Finals or winning their entry through a qualifying heat. In each of the four $300+$40 qualifying heats, the top 20% of the field will win a non-transferable seat into the Finals no additional entry fee.

Wednesday April 16, 7:30 pm start time
Thursday April 17, 7:30 pm start time
Friday April 18, 10:30 pm start time
Saturday April 19, 10:30 am start time

Finals:
Sunday April 20, 10:30 am start time
