UNCASVILLE, CT: On August 29th, the Mohegan Sun, one of the largest gaming facilities in the world will get a little bigger as it opens the first portion of its $925 million expansion, the 64,000 square-foot Casino of the Wind, which will offer a 42-table poker room, more than 650 slot machines, 28 table games, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, and Chief’s Deli - a quick-service restaurant.

The new 42-table poker rooms first major tournament, the Mohegan Sun Super Stack, with a guaranteed prize pool of $750,000, will kick off with preliminary qualifying tournaments on October 1st, with finals being held October 22nd through 26th.
