SAN JOSE, CA: The Bay 101 Casino is gearing up for their 12th Annual WPT Shooting Star Tournament to be held March 10-14, 2008. The WPT Shooting Star Championship Event is a $9,600+400 buy-in, 5 day tournament. Players will receive 20,000 in starting chips and Day 1 & 2 will consist of ten 1 hour levels. First place winner in the 2008 WPT Shooting Star Championship Event will receive $1,200,450 (based on 500 players) which includes a $25,500 seat to the WPT Championship. The Chip Leaders at the end of day 1 & 2 will win $10,000.

$225 WPT Super Satellites will be held February 18 through March 8, 2008.
