Grand Ronde, OR:  The Spirit Mountain Poker Room will host 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Satellites at 10am every Saturday in January and February.  The WSOP Satellites have a $220 buy-in ($200+$20 ) starting players with 4,000 in chips with 30 minute rounds.  1st place winner receives $10,000 entry into the 2009 Main Event at the World Series of Poker.  Final Table players will split remaining prize pool equally after $10,000 set aside for WSOP entry.  Sign ups begin the Saturday before the Tournament at 8am.

North Bend, OR:  The Mill Casino is hosting a $100 High Hand Bonus Poker Tournament every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in January and February.  The High Hand Tournaments start at 4pm, check-in at 3:30pm.  The player with the highest hand at the end of 2 hours of play wins $100 in chips from the house! If there are 2 full tables, the second highest hand earns $50 in chips, and if there are 3 tables, $25 in chips for the third highest hand.  Tournament must have six-players minimum per table, if there are less than six players by 4 pm, there will be no High Hand Bonus Poker Tournament.

The Fall Poker Round-Up comes to the Wildhorse Resort and Casino from November 5th through the 16th. North Bend, OR:  The Mill Casino & Hotel in North Bend, Oregon near Coos Bay recently opened a new 5 table poker room as part of an ongoing $40 million expansion to the hotel and casino. When construction is complete The Mill will have added 60% more space to the casino floor and a 92 room hotel tower.Robert Wazelle won The Mill’s WPT satellite tournament earning his entry into the $25,000 buy-in WPT Bellagio 5 Star Championship Event in April. Wazelle ended up finishing 27th at the Bellagio taking home $92,840!
