Emeryville, CA: The Oaks Card Club will host their “Super Saturday” Deep Stack poker tournament at 11am on Saturday, January 17th. This tournament has a $300 + $30 Buy-In, players receive 6,000 in tournament chips with no-rebuys or add-ons, blind rounds are 25 minutes. Sign-ups start at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the tournament. The Super Saturday Deep Stack Tournament pays the top 20 places, 1st place also wins an Oaks Club Jacket!

Deep Stack Sundays @ The Oaks Card Club

EMERYVILLE, CA: The famous Oaks Card Club is offering Deep Stack Sunday tournaments every weekend. The $225 No Limit tournaments goes off at noon each Sunday; players have 5,000 starting chips.

This month a special Deep Stack Saturday event will be held on August 9th. The $330 buyin tournament goes off one hour earlier at 11 AM and players receive an additional 1,000 chips bringing the starting stack to 6,000. Interest in the Deep Stack Saturday might mean the Oaks Card Club holding a Deep Stack Weekend in the near future.

Super Sundays @ Oaks Card Club

EMERYVILLE, CA: The Oaks Card Club just across the Bay Bridge from San Francisco will be making Sundays Super beginning May 25th. Win a $1,500 World Series of Poker entry plus first place prize money on the 25th in a special one time only $125 No Limit Hold’em event. Then the following week the Summertime Sundays event begins with a $225 NLHE tournament this event will run every Sunday all summer long at the Oaks.

All Sunday events start at noon at the Oaks Card Club in Emeryville.

Oaks Card Club: WSOP Tournament Series

EMERYVILLE, CA: The Oaks Card Club located in Emeryville, California (East San Francisco Bay near Berkeley) has a 35 table poker room that is open 24/7. Starting January 6th and running every Sunday for 16 consecutive weeks, the Oaks will host their WSOP No-Limit Tournament Series. This $100+$25 Buy-In with one optional $100 Re-Buy starts at 12 Noon. Players receive 1,500 in tournament chips, the optional $100 re-buy is allowed anytime during the first three 20 minute rounds, players receive additional 1,500 in chips for the re-buy. Players who finish in the money earn WSOP free-roll points, the Top 100 players (point leaders) from the Sunday tournaments qualify for the Oaks $25,000 “Free-roll” on May 18, 2008 where WSOP prize packages will be awarded. No Tournaments are scheduled on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3rd, Easter Sunday, April 27th, and Mother’s Day, May 11th.
