Tucson, AZ:  The Desert Diamond poker room will host the Toys for the Tohono O’odham Nation Poker Tournament, Friday, December 5 thru Sunday,December 7, 2008.   Tournaments start at 12pm.   Guests wishing to participate in the Tournament must donate at least one (1) new, unwrapped toy (valued at $25 or more) in addition to paying the $20 Tournament Buy-in fee. All toys will be donated to the children of the Tohono O’odham Nation.  Players must be 21 years of age or older and a Desert Diamond Club member to participate.

The Casino Del Sol poker room has started their “Cash Extravaganza” in November!  Poker players receive a drawing ticket for every hour they play in a live game. Drawing tickets will be passed out at the top of each hour in the poker room. Tickets remain the drawing barrel for the entire month of the promotion. Seated Players whose ticket is drawn will have the opportunity to draw from the “Cash Extravaganza” game board and select from 35 envelopes to win one of the following cash prizes. $50, $100, $200 or $500. Players must be present to win.

TUCSON, AZ: The Casino Del Sol Poker Room runs their “Aces Cracked” and “Aces Double Suited Cracked”  promotion on Sundays from 7:30pm - 11pm.

The “Aces Cracked” promotion runs every other half hour on Hold ‘Em games only.  Here’s how it works, any pocket pair of Aces played to the showdown and loses the main pot will win a $35 cash bonus, the winning hand will also receive a $35 cash bonus and the table will receive a $30 splash pot on the following hand.

Casino Del Sol offers “Aces double suited cracked” for Omaha games.  Aces double suited played to the showdown that loses both sides of the main pot will win a $50 cash bonus and a $50 splash pot on the following hand.
