Casino Nova Scotia Halifax will host a “2009 Kickoff” No-Limit Texas Hold’ Em Poker Tournament at 11am on Saturday, January 31, 2009.  The “2009 Kickoff” tournament has a $220 ($200+20) buy-in, players will start with 5,000 in chips with 30 minute blind rounds.  Sign up early the “2009 Kickoff” tournament is limited to 80 players.

Casino Nova Scotia in Halifax will host the “Christmas Cheer” No Limit Texas Hold’ Em Poker Tournament on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11:00am.   The “Christmas Cheer” tournament has a $200 + $20 buy-in, players will start with 2,500 in chips and have 30 minute rounds.  80 players max.

On Saturday November 15th and Sunday November 16th, the Casino Nova Scotia Halifax Poker Room will host the “Sharks Only” No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament at 11:00am. This tournament has a $550 buy-in, giving players 5,000 in starting tournament chips. Registration starts September 7th, 2008 at the Casino Nova Scotia Promotions Booth or through Teleservices at 1-888- 642-6376.

The $50,000 cash prize purse is based on 100 entrants. On Saturday Nov. 15th, entrants will play in a single knock out event until 40 players are left.  Then on Sunday Nov. 16th, the remaining 40 will play in a single knock out event until 1 player is left.
