LOS ANGELES, CA: The Hustler Casino will host the Grand Slam of Poker Tournament from July 6th thru July 29th. Sixteen total events, many of them deep stack tournaments, will lead up to the $1,500 No Limit Championship. Mega-satellites are scheduled throughout the three weeks of the tournament, giving every player an opportunity to make the big event final table.

OCEANSIDE, CA: To celebrate the Fourth of July, the Ocean’s Eleven poker room will run three poker tournaments. On the Friday the 4th, its an 10 AM start to the $225 No Limit tournament. LAS VEGAS, NV: The fourth edition of the Bellagio Cup Poker Tournament will get underway on July 1st with seven preliminary events and several Super Satellites leading up to the World Poker Tour main event that begins on July 11th. Many players who have busted out of the WSOP main event will be taking a shot at the $15,000 buy-in Bellagio Cup. Here is a complete schedule:

LOS ANGELES, CA: The Super Bad Beat Jackpot in the Commerce Casino poker room has gone up from $100,000 to $150,000. The higher jackpot is good during selected two and three hour periods, seven days a week. The qualifier is Aces full of Tens beaten by Four-of-a-Kind or better. Both hands must hold a pocket pair.

LOS ANGELES, CA: The bad beat jackpots at Hollywood Park have gone up. The new jackpots are in addition to the regular bad beat jackpots that continue as before. The new bigger jackpots are on top of the standard bad beats.

$100,000 Hold’em Jackpot (Monday-Thursday). Four-of-a-Kind beat by Four-of-a-Kind with both players holding a pocket pair.

$50,000 Omaha Hi-Lo Jackpot (Monday-Thursday). Four Aces, using a pocket pair, beaten by any better hand.

SAN JOSE, CA: Bay 101 is running to (after) Midnight tournaments each week. On Sunday night (or Monday morning) registration begins at midnight and the tournament goes off at 1:30 AM. The same structure can be found Wednesday night (or Thursday morning). Both events are the standard Spread Limit Hold’em played at Bay 101. Buy-ins for these early morning tournaments is $120. For those true early birds, you can win the Midnight Tournament and then play cash games until the next tournament at 9:30 AM.

JACKSON, CA: Daily tournaments are the thing in the Poker Room at Jackson Rancheria Casino. Fourteen tournaments a week go off on the regular basis at the Rancheria. Every day at 10 AM they run the $25 “Standard Morning” No Limit tournament. On Tuesdays and Sundays they throw in unlimited rebuys and on Thursday it is a bounty tournament.

Monday and Thursday there is a 7:30 PM tournament for $45 bounty event. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the 7:30 PM is the regular $25 tournament. Sunday also has the $45 rebuy event at 7:30 PM and an additional $120 weekly event on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 PM.

You only have to be 18 years old to play the Jackson Rancheria Poker Room.

CHARLESTON, WV: Hiring has begun for the summer 2008 opening of a brand new 40 table poker room at the Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center nearby Charleston, West Virginia. The Tri-State facility offers 90,000 square feet of gaming floor just 15 minutes from Charleston. Residents of Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina and Washington D.C. as well as West Virginia will find the new facility within easy driving distance.

LAS VEGAS, NV: The Station Casinos are known for their Jumbo Hold’em Poker Progressive Bad Beat Jackpot. By linking all of the Station poker rooms together the Jumbo Hold’em Jackpot starts after a win at $150,000. Anyone seated at a Hold’em table when the Jumbo hits gets a piece of the action.

Now all of the Station Poker rooms (Palace Station, Boulder Station, Texas Station, Sunset Station, Santa Fe Station, Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock) have an additional “Property Bad Beat”. This one plays only in the single room; it starts at $10,00 and only needs Aces Full of 10’s beaten by Four of a Kind or better for the win. All of the Station card rooms have also added a $250 Royal Flush bonus for Hold’em games.

VERONA, NY: The Heartland Poker Tour will hold its Northeast Championship at Turning Stone Casino from June 21st to the 29th. The $1,500 Championship event on June 28th & 29th will be preceded by a full week of qualifiers. Single table satellites will run daily at $40 (one main event seat) and $75 (two seats). There will also be a daily $350 Super Satelitte with multiple seats. The single tables run 10 AM to Midnight, the Super goes off daily at 2 PM. The Super schedule to ramp up on June 26th & 27th with three running each day at 10 AM, 3 PM & 8 PM.

The Championship final table on June 29th will be a televised event.

LAS VEGAS, NV:  Two Royal Flush Jackpots were hit in the Treasure Island Poker Room this weekend.  The first was a Heart Royal Flush hit on Friday 6/13 for $3,151,  the second a Club Royal Flush was hit on Saturday 6/14 for $5,000.

The TI Poker Room pays $100 for all Four of a Kinds, $250 for all Straight Flushes and up to $5,000 for Royal Flushes.
